Hi Jake, We just completed a very successful clinic at the "Hammer Dome" in Jackson, MS, conducted by Doug Owen. Doug, along with Meredith and Hunter, provided the most beneficial instruction that we have ever received at any clinic we have ever attended. The improvement in Megan's swing was obvious within the first few hours of the first session! The Staff was able to tweak her mechanics early on and got her swing plane back on track. From that point we were able to concentrate on lower body position and footwork. Most importantly, Megan "bought in" quickly, believing in the instruction and was then able to make significant progress for the remainder of the clinic. We will continue to hone our skills and will be using the techniques taught by Doug and his staff. Thanks for the tough standards you have for "certifying" instructors; the quality of instruction was impressive.

I've got to tell you, I went through your DVD's and your book again after the Certification Weekend, and I am so excited to get teaching! It has helped me more than you know. I still play in an over 30 league on Sunday mornings. I've been up 35 times with only 3 strike outs this year—and batting over .400. In the last 4 years my average probably would not have added up to .400. The thing is, if at 46 years of age it can change me, imagine what it can do for the young ones. WOW!!!! Mike, Let me express my appreciation for such a complete and robust certification training course this past weekend. I made a living for a long time in the military as an instructor at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg. Let me say that the training provided by you and Jake on rotational hitting was as good as any training I have ever received. I started Monday afternoon at the BHCC baseball practice sharing the information that I received at the certification training and as always my players soaked it up like sponges. I believe that once again Bunker Hill will be a powerhouse hitting program. If I can ever be of any help in the New England region please do not hesitate to call and I will happily get involved.

I have been coaching baseball for over 20 years and have every book on hitting that is offered in any major bookstore or on any website.

It wasn’t until I heard Mike Epstein speak at a baseball show in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, that my understanding of hitting and teaching hitting reached a higher level. It has been a fun road ever since.

I have his DVDs, book, and CD-ROM. However, it wasn’t until I attended his Coaching Weekend and physically went through his drills that I more fully understood the correct physical positioning of the rear leg, the elbows, shoulders, and head in the rotational swing.

In training for jobs or sports you are told how to do something and then asked to demonstrate to see if you have it correct. It is amazing how many times in my life just telling someone how to do it has not been enough. It is the demonstration process by the trainee and the interaction with the trainer that gets the complete understanding of the process. That is what Mike and Jake Epstein’s Coaching Weekend accomplishes. Thanks Mike and Jake!

I thought I "knew" your philosophy before attending your Coaching Weekend. Wow. This was an amazing learning experience.

I am sure we will do a clinic with you here once the word gets out to our 700 players. We have a small number of high school coaches that play in our league. Also, a lot of parents with kids who play ball. They NEED to understand and learn what you teach.

Both of you are very personable, easy to work with, and keep the group loose, all of which is necessary for a positive learning environment.

In his tapes/DVDs, Mike Epstein presents the only complete and coherent system for teaching the rotational swing. As good as the instruction on the tapes is, the information presented during the Coaching Weekend is invaluable.

I know a lot of coaches, myself included, who have spent a good deal of money in the past on other instruction which was confusing, ineffective, or just plain wrong. Mike's "Weekend" is cheap by comparison considering the knowledge gained and questions answered.

If you are serious about teaching kids how to swing, at any level, baseball or fast pitch, this is the event you must attend.

Your Coaching Weekend provides the individual instruction and guidance that all the videos and books in the world cannot provide. You can study all you want, but until you experience the training, you cannot teach the Epstein Rotational Hitting System. The Coaching Weekend allowed me to learn from your lifetime study of hitting.

In addition, I found the mental aspects of hitting tremendously helpful. This is one area, that most, if not all, hitting coaches disregard.
